Dr. Ryan Gerts

Dr. Ryan Gerts, originally from the Chicago suburbs, fell in love with Winona, Minnesota during his undergraduate years at Winona State University, where he not only captained the Warrior football team but also met his wife, Kait, an alumna of the same school. Their connection to Winona runs deep, leading them to choose the city as the venue for their wedding while Dr. Gerts was still in dental school, despite living four hours away in Illinois. The couple has since returned to Winona, where they are raising their two sons, Kieran and Merrick.

Dr. Gert's dedication to dentistry began long before he became a licensed professional. Amid the demanding dental school curriculum at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, he devoted countless hours to research and advanced education on topics like digital smile design and surgical guides. Since graduating, he has completed nearly 500 hours of continuing education focused on implants, sedation, and bone grafting techniques, constantly seeking to improve the quality of care for his patients. By investing in cutting-edge technology and advanced training, Dr. Gerts strives to provide the best possible outcomes for those who visit the Winona Dental Implant Center.
